I started my career as an RN in 1997 and I have practiced as a Nurse Practitioner since 2003.
I got into medicine because, when I was 21, my father was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. He passed away within 1 month of his diagnosis. As hard as that experience was, I learned to love the nurses and how they helped their patients during very difficult times. I realized during this time that medicine was my calling. I aim to treat my patients like I would treat my loved ones.

I am most fulfilled in my profession when I feel connected to my patients. If I could give one piece of advice to my patients, it would be that life is short, live every day to its fullest!

Specialty: Family Nurse Practitioner

I am knowledgeable, compassionate and outgoing with all of my patients. I like to practice in a way that is warm, friendly, and empathetic. I believe my compassion and honesty sets me apart from other providers.

Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, 2 adult sons, grandbaby, and mom, and our dogs and cat), being outdoors, kayaking/fishing, and gardening. I have been married since 1990 to Scott, who is an aspiring fishing pro. Together, we have two 2 adult children: Austin, who owns a construction company and Mason who swore in to USAF/Special Forces on January 14, 2019.
